Church Family News – June

Sunday June 28, 2020

Keeping you up to date . . .

RETURNING TO THE TABERNACLE

I’m excited to say that I am going to church on Sunday!

Easter Murals 2020

A smallish group of people will gather together in the Tab for the first time since lockdown. The basic service will be on the HBC YouTube channel that will be seen by everyone at home. And there will a few extras such as communion.

Church doors open at 9.45 am for a 10 am service.

An invitation has been extended to those who have been unable to connect over the past three months, and others in preparation for the weeks ahead. Willing volunteers have put their hands up and if you are super keen to join us, I am sure there will be room.

It is important to add that in returning to church please be mindful of the fact that it will not be the same as it was. Out of necessity, things are changing. A new normal needs to be found – this will take time.

It is one step at a time, and with the further increase in gathering size just announced, we have confidence that we will be well placed by Christmas! (The one in July!)

Prayer Point:  Please pray for wisdom and guidance in all the decisions made in regard to our church services as we return to meeting together. Pray that we will be open to God’s leading both as individuals and as a church. It is an opportunity for a fresh start, pray that we will use it well.

CHURCH MEMBERS’ MEETINGS

The outcomes from last Sunday’s meeting are listed on the Church Members page. See Church Members Page for more details >>>

Please note that a further meeting has been scheduled for Sunday 12 July 2020 at 11.30 am.

Prayer Point: Give thanks for the meeting last week and for the decisions made. Give thanks for the dedication of the members to HBC and that our system enables members to speak freely. Please pray for the ongoing work in preparation for the next meeting, for wisdom, and for clarity in all areas. Please also pray for the Building Development: for the builders, a timely completion of the units, wisdom for Antal in managing the final stages and that everything comes together without too many complications.
