Meeting Jesus at the Beach Flyer

Well, our family day is done and dusted!

It was a fun time for kids and families to get to know each other. Fun activities included a scavenger hunt, and free time on the beach with a cricket set.

Everyone had a great time, the weather was perfect, and Jesus even came to visit! (Thanks Joel!)

The Soundy Forecourt

The latest building development update from Antal is available here>>>

As you will read, progress is continuing on the upstairs hall and mezzanine as well as the connection between the Soundy Building and the church. The forecourt is taking shape and I can’t wait until I can sit under the tree with a coffee!

Achieving settlement continues to frustrate both the purchasers and ourselves. The lack of finances is placing a burden on the builders who are continuing for the moment. We are doing all we can, but please,

Please Continue to Pray

For wisdom for Antal, Heather, Ben and Kaaren as they work with the many different agencies,
For patience, peace of mind and continued trust in God,
For increased understanding and support and coordination from the authorities,
For patience and understanding for all those who have purchased units.

With our borders now open to most of Australia it is important we remember a few simple things that we can do to help protect ourselves as individuals, those we love and the community at large.

Stay at least 1.5 metres away from others.
Wash your hands often with soap and warm water. Use alcohol-based hand sanitiser when out and about.
Stay at home if you are unwell and always cover coughs and sneezes.
Get tested for COVID-19 if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms.
Be aware of, and follow, current gathering, business and travel restrictions.

When We Are Together Please Remember:

* If you are unwell, you are asked to stay home
*Please use hand sanitiser when you arrive and before you leave
*Family members may sit close together, but
* Social distancing of 1.5m needs to be observed at all times
* You are welcome to bring your own cushion
* More details can be found on Elvanto >>>

Thank you for your assistance with this.

Face Masks for Sale:
Karen Conway has made some pretty 3 layer cotton face masks as per the guidelines. These are available in the foyer if you would like to have one or two on hand just in case. If you are able to give a $5 donation towards the building fund as you take one, it would be appreciated, but not essential.

Thank you to all who have been faithfully continuing with regular giving during the current economic climate. Many have been using EFT for some time now, but there are others who have made the switch since we had to close our doors. Your ongoing support is much appreciated.

Now that we are meeting in person again, there is an offering box available for your use as you leave the sanctuary. (A change to the way we do things as a result of COVID-19).
