General Members’ Meeting

This will follow on after the Annual Members’ Meeting on 28 November 2021.

  1. Confirmation of Minutes of Members’ Meeting of 27 June 2021 and
Special Members’ Meeting of 19 September 2021
  2. Reports from the Senior Pastor, Secretary and Treasurer
  3. Presentation of the Financial Statements for 1st Quarter, 2021-22 FY
  4. Amendment to the Church Constitution regarding the appointment of an Auditor
  5. Pastoral leadership moving into 2022

Liam Conway completes his appointment as Ministry Apprentice at HBC early in the New Year, after which he and Hannah will be moving to Longford Baptist for Liam to take up a Pastoral position there. With that in mind the Deacons have, over a number of months, been considering the pastoral leadership of the church for 2022 and beyond.

The Deacons have agreed to advertise a part time Associate Pastor’s position at HBC, with the aim of commencing the role in February 2022.  Time allocation for the role to be considered in light of a Finance Committee recommendation.

It has been necessary to take this step ahead of the church meeting due to time constraints. Further information will be brought to the Church meeting in November and the decision ratified at the meeting.

Heather Galloway, Secretary
