Please remember our March Muster, which will go regional 1-3 March, with meetings in the South (1st), North (2nd), and Northwest (3rd). Richard Sharp from ReNew Discipleship Network, Adelaide, will be with us to further explore key themes from our new strategic plan.
Richard will join with pastors over dinner, followed by an evening meeting which is open to our leadership teams and other key leaders from our churches.

Prayer for the Persecuted Church
Would you like your church to pray for persecuted Christians once each year?
Ask your church to sign up for an Open Doors Service this year. You can select any date and use Open Doors resources to put on the kind of service that best suits your church.
You do not necessarily need to give any money to Open Doors. For details see go to Open Doors Australia and click on Get Involved at the top. On the menu, select Open Doors Sunday. Or you can contact Elly Lloyd 0487 370 652, ellyh@od.org.au
Local News and Dates
Claremont Baptist is celebrating its 50th Anniversary of work in the Abbotsfield / Claremont area on Sat 6 March. The next day, Sunday 7 March, we are having a celebration morning worship service.
We’d love to have past members come but because of COVID-19 have to be mindful of numbers so an RSVP is essential. Live streamed on zoom for those who can’t personally attend.

Understanding “Us”
Our Understanding the Baptist Movement study intensive is happening again in 2021, on Saturday May 22. Already we have eight likely registrations. There are limited spaces still available.
The intensive is essential for registration for all new APL and RPL pastors who have not previously studied Baptist Principles formally. It is also available to anyone interested to know more about Baptists in a post-denominational era. Cost is just $20. Contact Jeff if you would like to receive an information sheet. jeff@citybaptistchurch.net
