Prayer for our People

Easter Next Week

Pray for our state as we enter into Holy Week, leading up to Easter. May God speak into Tasmanians’ lives this Easter.

Don McClellan

Pray for Don McClellan who was a member of Newstead Baptist, and a staff member at Worldview College in Launceston.  He has been diagnosed with “transitional cell carcinoma” in the bladder. Don now lives in Brisbane where he was lecturing at (the Baptist) Malyon College.

The Barnes Family

Pray for the Barnes family (Craig, Kim, Henry, Amaya, Reuban and Elodie) who are now in two-weeks quarantine in the Cambodian capital Phenom Penh.  The photo above shows their view. After quarantine, they can travel north to re-join the Global Interaction team in Siem Reap.

Forum at City Baptist

City Baptist (Launceston) is holding a forum today to discern God’s will for the church’s future. Your prayer support is appreciated.

Reminder

Daylight saving ends on Easter morning, Sunday 4 April.

Reflect: You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
