Administration support wanted!
As we are currently still without a Secretary, the deacons have been considering ways to support the administrative needs of the church. There are small and large ways that individuals can get involved and help. If you have some administrative skills and would consider being part of our administration team (AdCom), please chat to Jo or Scott. If you’d like more information, join us for a quick meeting after church on Sunday 4 May.
FILIPINO POP UP RESTAURANT RETURNS

Each Sunday after Church, commencing 4 May, yummy Filipino food will be available for purchase.
I’m sure you remember the debut pop up food stall last month. The girls are keen to continue to treat us to their delicious cuisine, albeit on a smaller scale from last time.
MEN AT WORK!

Much goes on behind the scenes that we don’t always get to see!
Snapped last week are Warren who was plastering and painting in the church while David was outside replacing the broken light fittings and painting the stands.
We are grateful to the ‘young’ men on the property committee who have been looking after the place for YEARS and who are keen for some even younger recruits!
Accommodation Wanted

Mat & Naomi Burns & the boys will be visiting Tasmania in June and are hoping to find a house in need of house-sitters, maybe with a car.
They will be down from the 11th -18th of June to attend Josh Lattimore’s wedding. If anyone can help, please let Karen Conway know.
Josh Lattimore and his fiancée, Naomi, are looking for a short-term place to live after their wedding on 14 June. They would love to find a space within the church community, whether housesitting or boarding in a granny flat or loft. Ideally, they are looking for accommodation until January in time for them to move to Melbourne for theological studies. If anyone in the congregation has an available space or knows of an opportunity, they’d be grateful to connect.

TITHES, GIFTS AND OFFERINGS

‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’
2 Corinthians 9:7
We thank all who give faithfully on a regular basis, as without this support we would not be able to operate. Your offerings support our budget: and through that it enables the church to continue to be an important part of the North Hobart landscape and the place from where we can prophetically serve the City of Hobart.
It is where we can know the benefit of worshipping with others, where we hear the stories of Jesus and how they apply to us, where we are encouraged in our journey with Jesus, from where we can share God’s love with others and help them to know and trust in God themselves. Our influence can also be far reaching – there is no limit to God’s love through our deeds and actions. Thank you for your generosity.
EFT is a great way to ensure regular giving and as well there are offering boxes available for use as you leave the Sanctuary.
