About us

Hobart Baptist Church is a rich and diverse community made up of around 300 people from a number of different congregations and groups.

On Sundays there are three services: our 10am service; the 11.45am Karen service (Burmese ex-refugees) in their own language; and at 2pm the Vietnamese Fellowship meet in the Soundy Lounge. In addition, on the 1st Saturday of the month, a Filipino house church “Mabuhay Christ Homes” meets in Kingston. Mabuhay Glenorchy meets less regularly – please enquire!

Here at Hobart Baptist Church we seek to make Jesus known in the city of Hobart and beyond. We are an international church that celebrates our unity and diversity in Jesus, aiming to grow devoted witnesses of Jesus Christ.
