Annual Members’ Meeting – 26 November 2023

The Hobart Baptist Church Annual Members’ Meeting will be held in the Gibson Hall this Sunday 26 November 2023 following the 10am service and morning tea.

All welcome and encouraged to attend.

This meeting is an important one in the church calendar, as the church prepares for the coming year. Prayerful consideration by the church family regarding the appointments is important.

Presentation of Financial Report and Statements for 1 July 2022 – 30 June 2023

HBC General Members’ Meeting

A General Members’ Meeting will follow on after the Annual Members Meeting.

Agenda Items will include:

  • Confirmation of Minutes from the Members’ Meetings of 2 July and 10 September 2023.
  • Senior Pastor’s Report
  • Secretary’s Report
  • Treasurer’s Report including the Reception of Financial Statements for 1st Quarter, 2023-2024 FY
  • Reception of a motion: “To reappoint Matt Henderson as Associate Pastor, 2 days per week, (from 7 February 2024) with annual reviews.”
  • Application for Church Membership – Jeremiah Ambrose.

Meeting papers will be circulated closer to the meeting.

The Members are led by the Deacons, who meet monthly.
