Sanctuary Sermon Series, Feb 18

The second instalment in this sermon series as we prepare for Sanctuary Sunday coming up on March 11. This week, Stephen Baxter brings an overview of Hobart Baptist Church – and our mission to be a place of sanctuary and refuge to those who come here.

Ephesians 4:1-6 (NIV)

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

God has given Hobart Baptist Church a special assignment. We are a congregation of people from around the world, who gather in different locations in different ways, as we express our love and service to God and each other.
In the weeks leading up to our Sanctuary Sunday celebration on March 11, we will be focusing on our unique calling from God.
