Last week on Sunday 28th January

The book of Psalms is a treasury of poetry and song. For this reason, they are deeply precious to many people.

This summer we will hear from some of our community as they reflect on their chosen Psalm in our Summer of Psalms series.

Together we will celebrate the beauty, honesty and rawness of the Psalms.

We are looking forward to upgrading the church kitchen to commercial standard. This will enable us to fully utilise our facilities, not only for our own church family, but also to better serve the community.

Esteem coffee

Kelvin’s vision is to make the church kitchen available to individuals or groups to produce food for distribution or for sale, either as one-off or as semi-regular events.

To date, we have now raised just over $2,400 towards our goal of $3,500. Thank you!

Donations can be placed in an offering box on Sunday (in an envelope suitably marked) or transferred directly to the Church Bank Account with the reference ‘Kitchen Upgrade’. For more information chat with Kelvin or Heather.

The Main Game

Sermon series from Sunday 4th February until Sunday 17th March

The Main Game - Learning to live like Jesus in Hobart; 11 Feb to 17 Mar 2024

We begin 2024 with the encouragement to keep Learning to live like Jesus in Hobart and put plans in place to keep learning and growing.

For us today in Hobart, this is not just a Sunday thing, but a whole of life — a 7-days-a-week, 24-hours-a-day, undertaking. Every area of our lives, our family, school, work and even our alone time, is impacted by our commitment to be disciples of Jesus.

Kitchen Fundraiser – Weekly Baking Sale

During morning tea, brownies, cookies, cakes, slices and other snacks will be available.

Cash donations preferred, but Card also accepted on the square machine. 100% profit will go towards the Kitchen Fundraiser!

A female student from the NW Coast is moving to Hobart in 2024 for University. Her parents are looking for accommodation for her and would love for her to be housed in a share house with other Christians.
If you are able to assist, or are aware of any accommodation arrangements that might be suitable, please let the secretary know by email –

They family is affiliated with Life Christian Church in Ulverstone, North West Tas.

‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’
2 Corinthians 9:7

We thank all who give faithfully on a regular basis, as without this support we would not be able to operate. Your offerings support our budget: and through that it enables the church to continue to be an important part of the North Hobart landscape and the place from where we can prophetically serve the City of Hobart.

It is where we can know the benefit of worshipping with others, where we hear the stories of Jesus and how they apply to us, where we are encouraged in our journey with Jesus, from where we can share God’s love with others and help them to know and trust in God themselves. Our influence can also be far reaching – there is no limit to God’s love through our deeds and actions. Thank you for your generosity.

EFT is a great way to ensure regular giving and as well there are offering boxes available for use as you leave the Sanctuary.
