Sanctuary Sunday, Sunday March 11
HOBART BAPTIST CHURCH is a church full of life and diversity. . .
. . . And a place of rest and refuge for many. We are a church of diverse sanctuaries – each providing a special haven for special people.
Over the years, believers from many backgrounds, young and old, rich and poor, male and female, Aussie, Latvian, African, Dutch, Asian, British, etc. have found a place to belong within HBC.
On Sanctuary Sunday, many of us gathered to we worship God together and celebrate what he is doing among us. During the morning we had special contributions from both our Karen and Anuak communities.
There was a special Sanctuary Offering taken on the day, which will go towards the work of our multicultural ministries.
